    Democratic nominee for election of Nov. 7, 2006. Organized a grassroots congressional campaign using innovative, low-cost marketing strategies, such as my trademark red shoes. Organized the Bring Their Buddies Home vigil where nearly 1,000 people stood in silence for an hour along Hwy 101 – each wearing the name of a one of our fallen troops to illustrate the human cost of war. Invited to join a peace delegation that went to Jordan to meet with Iraqi parliamentarians.
